Nayara graduated from University Center of Belo Horizonte with a degree in Architecture and Urbanism in 2017. She joined Quinn Architects in early 2021 with the purpose of expanding her work experience in an international environment.
She has worked in architecture since 2013 for multiple types of residential, commercial, and institutional projects for well-known public and private companies in her home country Brazil. Her recent involvement in the Garryowen Community Centre project, combined with her previous roles in the resettlement of communities affected by the rupture of a dam in Mariana, Brazil and also in the public planning department of her home city inspired her interest in social architecture.
She intends to develop her expertise in engaging with architecture and the built environment in creative, innovative and socially responsible ways – in other words, more sustainable and more equitable methods to make everyone feel truly included.
Nayara is a Part II Graduate Architect with the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland – RIAI .
