Darren joined Quinn Architects at the start of 2021 having qualified in 1996 with over 25 years of post graduate experience. Projects experience includes working within sectors for education, residential, commercial, healthcare, retail and leisure.

Since joining Quinn Architects, Darren has been tasked with the delivery of two business hubs, one in Galway and the other in Roscrea and he is working on a design for an extension to a primary school in Limerick. Previous experience includes a major school extension for a secondary school in Kilkenny, multi-sports and rowing centre for the University of Limerick, numerous creches and childcare centres including an award winning creche for St John’s College in Oxford and a number of large scale residential developments.

Having spent a number of years working on conservation projects in Oxfordshire, this area of interest have become a passion for Darren. Additionally the improvement of sustainability and environmental aspects in design and specifications, are becoming important to understand and working towards zero carbon and prosumer solutions to the built fabric.
