Brookvale Plaza is a commercial office development consisting of three blocks located in the Smithstown Industrial Estate in Shannon. Constructed in the late 1980s and previously occupied by Intel, the buildngs are now in need of refurbishment. Quinn Architects was commissioned by the original developer to design and implement an extensive refurbishment project on Block 2, consisting of a two storey building with a GIFA of 2,000 sq.m. The works consisted of extensive strip-out, minor alterations to address Building Regulation compliance issues with Fire Safety & Accessibility, and a full refurbishement of both the Landlord areas and the 4 no. Office Suites. The works also included site works to impove paving, soft landscaping and site lighting.
